Directions to Mt. Zion Baptist Church

Mt. Zion Baptist Church is one of the oldest and largest African American churches in Will County.  It sits in what is affectionately referred to as the “East Side” of Joliet, which is the historic African American portion of the city.

Directions

Mt. Zion Baptist Church located at the intersection of Singleton Place and McKinley Street.  Take I80 to the Chicago Street exit (Exit 132).  Head south on Chicago Street to Patterson Road.  Make the right at Patterson Road.  Follow Patterson across railroad tracks. At fork in road, veer left onto McKinley Street.  Go three blocks and you will arrive at the church.
