Valuing The Needs Of Our Youth
At Mt. Zion Baptist Church, we want our youth to know they are valued. We want to provide them with a welcoming environment where they feel heard and accepted as part of a vibrant spiritual family. We aim to meet the social and spiritual needs of our youth by offering engaging programs, activities, and events that allow them to express their faith in their own words and actions. We also encourage them to utilize their talents in programs and ministries that interest them, fostering growth as individuals of faith who can follow the example of Christ.
There are various youth ministries to participate in:
- Candy Stripers and Jr. Nurses: Part of the Nurses Ministry, designed for children ages 8 to 18.
- Youth Ushers: Part of the Ushers Ministry, intended for those ages 8-18.
- Youth Choir: Part of the Music Ministry, open to those who enjoy singing. The Youth Choir is for participants aged 5-12.
- Genuine Praise Dancers: Designed for those who love to dance. Youth aged 7-18 are welcome to join.
