Children's Ministry

Mt Zion Children’s Ministries provides a safe, nurturing, and spiritually enriching environment for children from infancy through 5th grade while their parents participate in worship and church activities. Our goal is to support families by caring for their children with love and compassion, reflecting the love of Christ, and laying a foundation for their spiritual development. We’ve created a space where discipleship is fun.
Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these.” (Matthew 19:14 NIV)
Our Children’s Ministry is designed with your child in mind. We focus on age-appropriate teaching that will minister to young children and build their faith. On Sunday mornings our kids are encouraged to meet in our Children’s Ministry classrooms (located in the Family Life Center) for an engaging worship experience, while parents worship in the sanctuary. Children meet in the following groups:
- Nursery
- Pre-Kindergarten – Kindergarten
- 1st Grade – 2nd Grade
- 3rd Grade – 5th Grade
Nursery & PreK – Kindergarten programming is offered every Sunday.
1st – 2nd Grade & 3rd – 5th Grade meet every 2nd & 4th Sunday.
