Martin Luther King Jr.

The MLK Celebration will be held at St. Paul Sunday, January 15th 7:00pm.  Min. Juan Thomas, Candidate for the House of Representative, District 11, will be the guest speaker.


The MLK Day of Service will kickoff at Mt. Zion Monday, January 16th 8:00am.  If you would like to volunteer for one of the community service projects that day, contact our church office.


Youth Lock-In

The Annual Youth Ministry Lock-In will begin Friday, January 20, 2012 at 7:00pm and continue through 7:00am on Saturday. Volunteers are needed in the areas of security, kitchen help and chaperone.  Please contact Deaconess Trinette Redditt, located in the FLC.


Church Business Meeting

The Church Business Meeting will be Saturday, January 21, 2011 at 9:00am.


Woodland School Fundraiser

On January 24th, 2012 at 7:00pm, a charity basketball game will take place at Joliet Central High School.  The Harlem Wizards will take on the J. Town Ballerz to benefit the Woodland Elementary School 4th and 5th grade basketball teams.  Advance rickets for the game are available at Woodland School, 701 Third Ave. Advance tickets are $7.00 for students/seniors and $10.00 for general admission. Tickets at the door will be $15.00. Come out and have fun!!


Heavy Load

Want to lose those extra Holiday pounds? Well come out and join the Athletic Ministry Boot Camp. Class will begin Jan 26th at 6:00pm in the Family Life Center. ** Please be advised this class will be at a High Speed Pace for 30-45 min.**  Contact Deacon Andre Redditt for details.


State of the Church

Please join us for our State Of The Church Worship Service on Friday, January 27, 2012 at 7:00pm.


Basketball

Youth Basketball has been cancelled until further notice.  However, Adult basketball will resume on Friday, February 3, 2012, at 6:30pm.


Super Bowl Fellowship

The Athletic Ministry will be having our 3rd Annual Super Bowl Fellowship Sunday, February 5, 2012, at 4 p.m. in the Family Life Center.  Please sign-up if you & your family would like to attend and come out and enjoy fun and fellowship. We are also asking individuals to sign-up to bring food to share with everyone.  Please sign-up after 7:30am & 10:45am services with Deacon & Deaconess Andre & Trinette Redditt.

2011-2012 Community Services Council Scholarship

There will be two ($500.00) scholarships offered to high school graduates from the Will County area.  Application deadline is February 3, 2012.  Please pick up your scholarship application packets from the church office.
