Sunday Morning Worship (Sunday @ 7:45am or 10:45am)
Join us in Sunday morning for one of our two worship services.  Enjoy an early start to the Lord’s Day at our 7:30am service, or participate in our mid-day service at 10:45.  Whether early or late, you will experience the power and anointing of God and a refreshing moment of worship.  Also know that we have children’s church each Sunday during our 10:45 worship service.

 

Sunday School (Sunday @ 9:15am)

At Mt. Zion, we believe that you cannot live what you have not learned.  In order to grow in discipleship, we believe that participating in the teaching ministries of the church is vital.  One of our learning ministries is Sunday School.  Each week, our gifted teachers convey the word of God in meaningful an practical ways.  Come and participate in a cooperative leaning environment, and enjoy growing in discipleship with fellow brothers and sisters in Christ.  We have classes for all ages, so it is a place for the entire family to grow in their knowledge of the Lord.

 

Baptism (Every 3rd Sunday)

Baptism will now be held on the 3rd Sunday of each month.  The Sunday School Ministry is asked to dismiss at 10:15am on every 3rd Sunday.

 

Prayer (Wednesday @ 6:00pm)

Each Wednesday, we gather in prayer.  It is an opportunity for Mt. Zion as a community to intercede for this congregation, this community, the body of Christ, and the world.  We believe in the power of prayer and warmly invite you to come and join your voice with ours, as we stand before the throne of grace to be ministered to and to offer our concerns to God.

 

Weekly Bible Study (Wednesdays @ 7:00pm)
Our weekly Bible Study provides this ministry and the blessing of coming together and studying God’s word as a family.  Led by Pastor Latimore, we are currently engaged in a survey of the Old Testament.  Right now we are studying the books of the prophets.  Come and be blessed as you learn just how relevant the Bible remains to the situations we confront in our daily lives...

 

Bible Institute 2010 (Thursdays @ 7:00pm)
Bible Institute is another important learning ministry of the church.  Institute differs from Bible Study in its approach.  While Bible Study is covering large portions of the Bible in a summary fashion, Bible Institute is engaged in an in-depth study of the book of Mark.  The goal of Institute is to provide the participate with a detail understanding of Mark’s Gospel.  If you are looking for a more rigorous study, Institute is for you.

 

Christian Youth Praising Christ
CYPC is now in session each Wednesday night, beginning at 6:30pm.  We encourage you to bring your children out as we invest into their future with the word of God.

 

Dinner with the Family (Wednesday @ 4:30pm)
If you are rushing from work and do not have time to prepare dinner for the family, come and join us as we fellowship over dinner each Wednesday evening from 4:30pm - 6:30pm  Please bring your bibles and join us for Bible Study at 7:00pm
